Mad for Mules

I don’t know what happened – I’ve been searching for a pair of mules for the longest time. I know they are readily available on the highstreet but I wanted something specific – low heel (but still a bit of height), not made out of leather but with a faux suede style. Sounds a bit impossible right? Well no, as it turns out. I have found not 1 but 2 pairs of cute, affordable mules that fit the bill.

The first pair is from the ever reliable H&M. I spotted them randomly when popping in to get some bits from H&M Home (as always), and fell in love immediately. Tried them on in store but they didn’t have the colour I wanted in my size, so I’ll have to order them online.

Aren’t they amazing? I think they will look ace with a short trouser or a midi skirt once Spring comes around. They also come in a dusky pink as well as the black above. I’ll be sticking to the latter as I am awful for scuffing light coloured shoes as soon as I buy them. I feel like the pink would look amazing on someone like The Frugality

The next pair surprised even me. I never shop at Next – I’m not against it I just don’t feel like it is my kind of vibe at all. I popped in over the weekend briefly to look at some plates I saw in the window (priorities), saw these bad boys and knew I had to have them! I mean, just look at them!

They are a perfect colour, perfect height and perfect style. It’s only taken me about 2 years to find them! But now we will live happily ever after, of course.
