Enter Annie Dressner.
Singer/songwriter Annie is originally from New York, she has recently moved to the UK and is about to release her new EP ‘East Twenties’ (due to be released on 8th April 2013)
With her guitar and folk-like sounds, she reminds us of an early Camera Obscura. Her songs are catchy and upbeat and definitely likely to get stuck in your head.
Her quirky debut album, “Strangers Who Knew Each Other’s Names” (2011) featured a collection of 11 original songs that are at times reminiscent of Bright Eyes or Jenny Lewis.
