Ever since I can remember I have been obsessed with home interiors. Redecorating my room a thousand times in my head and moving all the furniture around to move it back again 6 weeks later. It’s probably where my love for The Sims developed.

But now I’m an adult (pah) and I’m renting in London, my obsession with interiors makes a lot more sense. Renting in London can sometimes hinder what furniture and home accessories you buy. My future kitchen however, will definitely feature the colour mint quite severely.

Here are a few pieces that have caught my eye lately:

I love this mint trolley from Ikea. So much so that I have had to stop myself buying it the last 3 times I have been in there. The colour is fantastic and the handy little guy could literally go anywhere; kitchen, bathroom, study, bedroom – anywhere! Maybe it will make its way on to my Christmas list and then I won’t have to worry about where to put it!

I don’t think I have ever not wanted a Smeg fridge in my life, they are just so eponomously cool aren’t they? Their classic design would go with any style of kitchen and they do tend to last you quite a long time. Doesn’t stop the price being so painful though.

KitchenAid’s are another product that doesn’t necessarily warrant such a high price tag but that hasn’t stopped them popping up all over the place; blogs, style shoots, even the Great British Bake Off. To go with my (imaginary) mint kitchen, I would get one in Duck Egg blue, as above.
